Last month we created a garden space which is easily maintainable for the client in Cobham, this consisted of levelling out the soil, putting in a lovely curved border, putting down a weed membrane and finally barrowing round 5 tonne of pea shingle to finish it off, the client was over the moon with the transformation as previously they was struggling to maintain the garden.
Last week we made a custom gate to go between to brick pillars 1.24m wide 1.7m tall, the client didn’t want to lose any space so the wall plates had to be added to the inside face of the brickwork, the piers were 30mm out over the span of 6ft which was a challenge, but our team managed to overcome this and also install a code lock to the gate. We got emailed just after the storm by the client, they said they was looking to get there featheredge fence replaced between theirs and the neighbours property.
Ashtead fencing provided a quote and this quote was accepted by the client, we turned up on the 27th of September and the team done a great job getting done by the 28th including hanging a gate that had to be highly modified to fit due to a old concrete drain for sink waste shared by both houses.
Unfortunately we never got a before picture on this one as some of the fence was already moved previous to our arrival but there is a after picture.
We got a call just after the storm, the clients 6ft featheredge fence had seen better days and a couple of posts had been snapped due to them rotting.
They specified they wanted a picket fence raised off the ground but still over 4ft high so they could see the wildlife and let the wildlife in the garden, We removed the old fence and installed this lovely new picket fence which we got the materials all from Challenge Fencing
